Machane Kaitz
Machane Kaitz is HDAo’s annual Summer Camp for chanichimot from Shtilim (years 3-5) and Bonim (years 11-13).
Machane Kaitz is a great opportunity to connect with other Jews all across Aotearoa, connect with your Jewish Identity, to learn new things and be challenged to think critically while living 10 days in a chalutziut environment!
Education חינוך
Throughout Machane Kaitz each Shichvah will receive informal peulot, with Chinuch(Education) grounded from HDANZ Ideology and values.

Machane Kaitz will keep constantly keep you on your toes with many traditional and new activities throughout camp. We have many activities for all different groups of youth including hikes, sports day, talent night, arts and crafts + more!
Judaism יהדות
HDANZ acknowledges the importance of its Jewish space in Aotearoa New Zealand and that Habo ANZ may be the only Jewish space for some. Education about Jewish identity and Jewish literature, use of Hebrew words on camp and Friday and Saturday Shabbat services are a few ways HDANZ creates a safe inclusive environment for the Jewish youth of Aotearoa New Zealand to reach their full potential and an understanding of their own Judaism.
